What is your favorite Gemstone?

I have many, but I use good quality glass beads as well. Glass beads come in many assortments from faceted to chunky to smooth. Infact I prefer to use Faceted glass briolette to teach because of cost and some gemstones are just very fragile. I found that I enjoy the look of faceted glass in my designs. What about you?
